Talisker 10YO

Located on the shore of Loch Harport, the Talisker distillery was founded in 1830 by Hugh and Kenneth MacAskill. Due to the location of the distillery, Talisker is the oldest single malt scotch whisky, made by the sea on the shores of the Isle of Skye (“island of fog” as it is called in Welsh), one of the most remote, rugged, but beautiful landscapes in Scotland. Talisker 10 Years Single Malt is obtained from malted barley from Muir of Ord, a Highland village, matured for 10 years in traditional oak barrels, it develops a slightly smoky aroma, with hints of spices and salt. Flavors Slightly smoky aromas of dried fruit, malt, cloves, oak wood, honey, spices and salt. Slightly sweet and long finish. Color Shiny gold.
