Jagermeister

Jagermeister originates from Germany and is the most popular digestive in the world. The assortment contains 56 aromatic herbs and spices, which give this drink a unique character. Among the ingredients that outline the original flavor of the liqueur are orange peels, licorice, anise, poppy seeds, saffron, ginger and ginseng. The ingredients are crushed and infused in water and alcohol for 2-3 days, after which the mixture is filtered and left to mature in oak barrels for a period of one year. Then the liquor is filtered again and mixed with sugar, caramel and alcohol. Traditionally, Jagermeister is enjoyed in a shot, but it can also be consumed in a long drink.
