La Trappe Dubbel

La Trappe Dubbel is a specialty with an aromatic trait of ripe plums, with a dry and refreshing finish due to the stinging hops. Its color is reddish to dark brown, and a light brown foam. Its unique flavor is reminiscent of a drop of caramel, roasted coffee, anise and licorice. One also feels a fresh orange peel aroma. The brown La Trappe is a beer that awakens the senses, still not very heavy thanks to its level of acidity that gives its freshness of a true Trappist beer. Trappe Dubbel won the Gold Medal at the European Beer Star 2014.
